With over 10 years of formally teaching literacy teaching to young children (not to mention four children of her own!), Miss Johnna knows better than most just how deeply reading is connected to communication, to community memory, to exploration of topics and emotions.

In her drop-in activity happening every half hour, your children will be engaged in the collective reading of a story, where they will learn to make story predictions, chant the chants, identify the best bits, and enjoy the surprises. It is a time to be still, to laugh and maybe even to shout!
